Skins Universe Roadmap: Our Vision and Next 12 Months of Growth

Phase 0 — Discovery & Audit (2–3 weeks)

Goals:

  • Product & content audit: inventory all pages, collections, and tagging (Deluxe, Premium, StatTrak, etc.).

  • Legal & business check: validate company details, refund/delivery policies, contact data.

  • Technical SEO audit: crawl errors, Core Web Vitals, indexation, duplication, and security.

Deliverables:
→ full site map, issue backlog (prioritized), baseline KPIs.

Phase 1 — Foundation Setup (Month 1–2)
  • Catalog structure: game → weapon/type → rarity → release; add filters, sorting, and collection landing pages.

  • Localization: complete i18n (including Turkish); add language switcher in header; translate system emails.

  • UI/UX improvements: search autocomplete, wishlist, comparison, microanimations, trust badges.

  • Technical SEO: implement structured data (Product, Offer, Collection), hreflang, XML sitemap, internal linking.

Phase 2 — Commerce & Compliance (Month 2–4)
  • Order & inventory model: integration with Steam API or other digital item providers.

  • Digital delivery flow: clarify mechanism (Steam trade / secure one-time download links).

  • Payment system: integrate Stripe or PayPal; enable 3DS, anti-fraud checks, and transaction logs.

  • Legal localization: Terms, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy translated and jurisdiction-compliant.

Phase 3 — Marketplace Core (Month 4–6)
  • Product pages: market price history, rarity info, related skins, recommendations.

  • Listings & orders: buy/sell, bids, escrow, marketplace fees.

  • User profiles: inventory, badges, collections, wishlist, activity feed.

  • Trust & safety: optional KYC, dispute center, blacklists, full audit logs.

Phase 4 — Community & Content (Month 6–8)
  • Collections & showcases: thematic bundles (e.g., Cyber/Neon, Souvenir/StatTrak).

  • UGC (user-generated content): reviews, ratings, public wishlists, creator profiles.

  • Marketing content: guides, tournament/event pages, email and push campaigns.

Phase 5 — Growth & Partnerships (Month 8–10)
  • Influencer program: referral links, promo codes, ambassador dashboard.

  • Partnerships: community collabs, tournament organizers, or skin creators.

  • Paid ads: Google Performance Max & Meta Ads with product feeds and ROAS tracking.

Phase 6 — Analytics, Retention & International Expansion (Month 10–12)
  • Analytics stack: GA4 + BigQuery, product performance dashboards, LTV cohorts.

  • Personalization: recommendations, segmentation, automated triggers (price-drop, restock alerts).

  • Localization v2: expand into TR, DE, ES markets with local payment methods.

  • Mobile: build PWA with offline caching and web-push notifications.
